October 2011 is Sweet Charity Month!
Have (or takeaway) any one of the irresistible signature desserts from the list of establishments listed below, and $5 will be donated to the NUH Kids’ Heart Fund. Make a booking through Chope and Chope will donate an additional $1. Sounds like a “tough” way to do some good work, eh? 🙂
This cause is of course very close to our hearts, so to speak. Congenital heart conditions can be critical and life-threatening, but can also be absolutely treatable with amazing results, and Abacus is testimony to the amazing work that they do over at NUH. But not all families can afford treatment and the Heart Fund subsidises treatment for those who need financial assistance.
So shimmy on down to one of these fabulous establishments and start chowing down on some serious desserts. You can even take away. And everyone has room for desserts. It’s win-win, mon ami! Guess that diet will just have to wait till November 🙂
