Coming up in January – Kids Fest 2014

Is it already a week to Christmas? As you read this we will be on our last holiday, a short one before we enter the last year before PRIMARY SCHOOL. Where did my baby go?

Anyhow, while you’re making some new year resolutions, and if one of them is spending more time with the kids or bringing them more culture and entertainment, I have just the thing for you. Kids Fest 2014 will run from January 15th, and will encompass so many famous book adaptations like the most famous ever The Gruffalo, which we caught last year. This year it’ll be a toss up between We’re Going On a Bear Hunt (which we missed while we were in London), What the Ladybird Heard and The Gruffalo’s child.

Mittens is so shy about doing a growl with the Gruffalo's child. Abacus plain refused to go near!

For the older kids, there are the Horrible Histories adaptations, which I hear are very interesting. There will also be autograph or photo sessions on particular dates, although if your kids are as “brave” as mine, they might need a whole LOT of coercing to do so. But I guess that just shows how good the actors and their costumes are, eh?

Here we are with HRH.

We were invited to the preview meet & greet, but my kids aren’t really fans of any kind of meet & greets, and I had to bribe Mittens to take a photo with the Gruffalo’s child by telling him he wouldn’t get any food unless he did it! HA!!

They did enjoy the tattoo though. And chocolate muffins, as you can see.

Thank you to AsiaPRWerkz and KidsFest for inviting us to the meet and greet!
